My work examines systems that facilitate a life of
consumption, convenience, and ease. Collected materials are
repurposed in my work to emphasize our corporal existence
and are integrated with new forms that reflect manufactured
infrastructures ’Äì necessary to a middle class existence.
The occupations of housewife and mother are analyzed
through the choices of paraphernalia as well as through the
depiction of the intense work involved in those roles.
The work unveils human’Äôs adaptations to contemporary life
and how we maneuver through forms outside of our control.
